🌸 About the Deities
Lord Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and the giver of wisdom. He is always worshipped first in any Hindu ritual. Goddess Lakshmi is the divine mother of wealth, abundance, and grace. Together, they represent the perfect balance of intellect and prosperity—vivek aur vibhav.
📖 Kahaniyan (Stories Behind the Pooja)
- Diwali ki Raat: It is believed that on Diwali night, Goddess Lakshmi visits homes that are clean, well-lit, and filled with devotion. Lord Ganesh is worshipped first to ensure the pooja flows smoothly. This tradition is followed in millions of homes to invite lakshmi kripa.
- Lakshmi’s Realization: Once, Lakshmi noticed that wealth without wisdom leads to ego and downfall. She chose Ganesh as her ritual partner, symbolizing that dhan must be guided by buddhi.
- Ganesh’s Divine Shortcut: In a celestial race, Ganesh circled his parents instead of the world, showing that honoring one’s roots is supreme. Pleased, the gods declared him to be worshipped first in all rituals—including those with Lakshmi.
